Senior Payroll Manager

The Walbec Group is seeking a Senior Payroll Manager to oversee a complex, multi-payroll system. Our ideal candidate has 10 plus years of Payroll experience in a multi-state, multi-company organization. Experience in a union environment is also beneficial. We are looking for someone that is passionate about employee coaching, development and continuous improvement to lead our Payroll team.

Responsible for the day-to-day efficient and accurate operation of the Payroll Department including:
Field Reporting Systems
Trucking Payments
Time Report analysis
Certified payroll reporting
Employee coaching and development
Analyze union contracts for all unions
File federal and state taxes on a weekly basis
Responsible for weekly & monthly projects for upper management
Ensure accurate audit checks are in place for the department
Participate in meetings and decision making regarding new system developments pertaining to the Payroll Department
